Rough Hands

I’m excited that we have some of Vaseline’s new Clinical Therapy headed to your house. If you watch this video Petal Ruch explains how her hubby’s hands were so rough that they would even snag the fabric of her nice shirts just by putting his hand on them. My hubby definitely has rough hands like this. He is an auto tech and is in all sorts of chemicals and solvents all day. This dries out his hands immensely plus they get banged up on tools and parts. Even after work he is always tinkering around on cars at home or doing different handy-man projects which bang up his hands even more. In the winter it can be painful even for him with the dry and cold air here in St. Louis. When the Vaseline Clinical Therapy arrives and we give it a try we will let you know what we think.

You’ll have to post how it works. I desperately need something for my dry hands!

OK that couple is really cute, but at the end where she’s rubbing his hand and talking softly about his hand feeling like a leather jacket, I feel like I’m watching soft porn. OK yes I am just perverted I guess.

They are really cute together though. I love how he says “men just take longer” and how they talk about how men are closet moisturizers. So funny.

I’m sorry to say, but I have snag-hands just like him! I snagged my silk satin shirt just by putting it on right before one of our holiday parties. I hope this stuff can help!

I’m anxious to try the Vaseline Clinical, too. My hands can get so dry from dishwashing, that they have those tiny cracks in the skin that can feel like paper cuts. Ouch!!

My hands are very dry right now so this sounds like something I can use.

I haven’t tried this yet. I’ve recieved a few coupons for a dollar or two off but it’s something like five or six dollars so it’s more than I’d like to spend on a lotion. I’d love to try it though. Let us know what you think!

Wow, that must be awful to have SUCH dry hands. I hope it works for your husband!

My hands also are so dry that they snag stuff (like stockings!), and also at times my fingertips crack open and bleed :(

I need something that doesn’t come off I wash my hands. I’m thinking of trying something called Gloves in a Bottle.

Can’t wait for your review. Although I don’t get that problem on my hands, I do have really dry skin in other areas and would love to try this out if you think it’s worth it. I definitely trust your opinion so hurry, hurry, HURRY!!! LOL

They are super cute. I actually have tried a sample of this and love it. I have excema on my hands pretty bad and they get super dry. It is such a great temporary fix.

i need something for my hands and feet so when you post if it works im gonna get me some to try thanks for sharing

Everyone’s hands here are dry, too. I think all of the constant washing them is the culprit! I guess it’s better to wash off the germs and have dry hands than be constantly sick though. Vaseline makes great lotions so I am sure this one will be just a great!

Oh, this sounds so great! My husband is a mechanic too, and his hands are awful! Nothing we’ve tried touches the dryness – hopefully this stuff is better…

  • Belinda

My hubby works outdoors and his hands get so chafed and gnarly, this sounds like it’s worth a shot!

I love this lotion for my legs, arms and elbows, but prefer Sally Hanson’s Hand and Nail Moisturizer (in an orange tube) for my hands… I LOVE the way it leave you hands smelling great but not feeling greasy.
