We Won!

Last night we went to another trivia night and holy cow, we won! There was even a prize, $100 for the table, a 1st place ribbon, and 1/2 off for all of us on the next trivia night.

This one was a bit more fun than the one we usually go to. It was a smaller crowd, they moved pretty quickly, and the questions overall were a little easier (at least I thought they were). This group of people seemed a bit more relaxed also, but that might have been because beer and setups were included in the price of admission. I also don’t think anyone in the entire room really was worried about winning or not.

Oh, and on top of our team winning the trivia, I also won one of the 50/50 drawings to the tune of $118! Woohoo! The evening was a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to the next trivia night.

Nice job! I did check to see if Fort Worth had something similar, which they don’t, but even if they did our kids are a little young yet.

Trivia night sounds like a cool thing to do ! I think I’d love something like that around here. I take part in a website run, daily trivia game, with 15-20 people from a card playing league I’m in. They are in month long periods and I’ve won the last three months :-) No prizes like that, just your name on a hall of fame wall but it’s just fun to do !

I am pretty good at trivial pursuit but I am pretty sure that I wouldn’t win a competition, so congrats! I think I need to search your blog and see if I can find a reason why people seem to post their address etc. It seems like they think its a giveaway?
