Frank's RedHot Sauce Review

Got a taste for something hot? How about some chicken smothered in Frank's RedHot Wings sauce?

I received 2 bottles of Frank's RedHot Wings sauce recently. One was Sweet Heat BBQ and the other was Hot Buffalo. Now I actually do not like chicken wings because of the meat, but I like the spicy sauces. I saw on the Frank's RedHot site in the recipes that I could take frozen chicken tenders and cook them as directed, and then just toss them in Frank's RedHot sauce for the same type of taste, but with the chicken in a form I prefer. We did that for a quick dinner one night and everyone liked them. I used the Sweet Heat BBQ sauce for these and while it has a little sweet it is still quite spicy! So quick and easy though, I will be keeping this on hand for when I don't have a lot of time to make dinner.

Last week I had the Windows 7 House Party and I needed some snacks to serve. I know more traditional chicken wings are something lots of folks like so I thought I would try the Hot Buffalo sauce on some wings for the party. Because I don't eat them, I had never made them before. So super easy though - I spread the chicken wings (I mistakenly bought full wings but they worked) on a sheet pan and baked them for about 30 minutes at 400° F and then just tossed them with Frank's RedHot Wings Hot Buffalo Sauce. Done! My friend Todd aka @Tojosan really seemed to like them and even took this picture of the wings. We had a few leftover and Hubby took them to work the next day and shared with the guys and they were a big hit there too.

I really do like both of these sauces and thought it was great that they really did not need any tweaking to make the chicken good. Frank's RedHot Wings Sauce will become a regular addition on my shopping list.

(in this case meaning I received the 2 bottles of sauce for free - that's it)

I tried some of the BBQ flavor with veggies (I'm vegan) and it was FAB!

Really enjoyed Frank's sauce on the wings and on some chips. Good with veggies as Stephanie said.

Can't wait for you to make some more. Sharon has started buying it as well for seasoning. Cheers and thanks for showing off the photo.

Love hot sauce but I'm very picky!

As for hot wings they have to be wet and messy LOL Yours look like they were. Yum!
