I need a Rosie!

Rosie the Robot MaidDo you all remember the Jetson’s? I loved that cartoon when I was little (and still do) – maybe it was all those computers that drew me in? One thing I know I loved about the show was Rosie the Robot Maid! I so need a Rosie here at my house. A robot you just buy once and use all the time, no weekly paycheck required for her. No worrying about days off, long hours, benefits, etc. – just a live-in, full-time, do-as-I-say servant to clean the house. Ahh, bliss!

I guess it is going to be a while before Rosie Maids are truly available for all of us, and a little longer for us not-so-rich folks to be able to afford one. Hmmm, maybe just one of the floor robots would be nice for now? Something to just do the floors, you know keep the dust and the cat hair under control. Plus I have seen a bunch of YouTube videos of cats riding on the Roomba things so my cats would have a new ride-on toy too. I guess I will have to put that on my holiday wish list. Do you have any of the automatic floor cleaner robots, I would love to know what you think of them, especially for hard surfaces.

I have been wanting a iRobot for a long time. Isn't that the floor cleaner? Anyways, I think it would be so great… but then I realized that it wouldn't make it through all the toys on the ground so my floors wouldn't be clean anyways. ha!

I always wonder how much dirt the iRobot can hold, before they have to be emptied. Maybe they have a light, letting you know it needs to be emptied…

I could certainly use a Rosie too. I have mostly hardwood floors in my home. They get so dusty so quick. I could definitely use something that would go around picking up the dust for me. lol

don't we all? hahha Rosie seems like a great addition to any household but honestly the iRobot is not all it's cracked out to be. I say that as a person who enjoys vacuuming :)

Well, a Rosie would certainly be handier than that god-awful robot from "Lost in Space." What the heck was that thing good for anyway? :)
