When Taylor and I were on our EA trip a couple of months ago I was able to pick up a few goodies in the EA Experience store at the EA headquarters. One of the titles, The Sims 3 for PC/Mac! I picked this up just to use as a giveaway for you all.


If you haven’t heard of The Sims well, frankly you must live under a rock. The Sims series has a HUGE following and there are multiple expansion packs and versions of the games available. Please do not confuse this with the MySims series though which is for younger kids. This is The Sims which is rated T (teen). You can create your Sims characters, build them homes, keep them happy, and just have a lot of fun with them.

    I agree, very addicting! There are so many different versions and some of them have add on packs so when finish the game, you can go back with add on packs and try again.

    Oh my goodness. Sims is like a staple in our house. I have it for every system we have. PC, Xbox, Gamecube, DS, PSP and iPod and Wii.

    I love that I can get totally sucked into the game. I have stayed up all night plenty of times playing them. What I like is each one is a little different but still the Sims.I love how I am able to try different things and I love when something happens that is unexpected.

    I've been a Sims addict for many years. I haven't had the chance to play Sims 3 though. I love creating a Sim and watching that Sim grow up, get married, get a job and have children. It's so much fun.

    I have Sims on my Nintendo DS and my phone too.

    I love the Sims. It's actually the only game I have ever gotten myself "addicted" to. I don't play any other games actually. This was the only one to actually keep my attentions. And what is not to love about them? I just love listening to their Simlish language HAHA! It cracks me up.

    I won't lie, I prefer their spin off games: Urbz and MySims. Urbz, of course, had an urban twist that varied from punk to hip hop – chic to skater. MySims is just really cute, thus easily gaining my love for it. LoL.

    I adore pretty much everything about the Sims. One of my favorite things is the ability to build your dream house for your Sim family. I also like that they are not perfect: they burn their food, get fired, are robbed, etc. So much like life, but much more fun!

    Actually, what I used to love is the Fan-made add-ons. They were so cool.

    I have to say I've not gotten Sims 3 because it seemed like they were trying to hard to make money and not trying hard enough to make it fun. The last few add-ons for the Sims 2 seemed like blatent moneymakers instead of something fun.

    I hope they find their fun again! It is an addictive game.
