Many of you have been learning all sorts of great tips in the Beauty Tip of the Day widget on the right side of my blog. There isn’t much time left that the widget will be running, so make sure to take a look now at all the practical tips and tricks for your hair, body, and face. As I mentioned in my other posts I received a box of Dove, Vaseline, and Q-Tip products to try out. Many of these I already knew about, but some were new. I have to say there were 2 items that I liked the best out of the great box of Unilever products.
First up – the cool box of Q-Tips. Now I have always used Q-Tip brand cotton swabs, the others just don’t compare in my book at all. I love this great decorative box/dispenser though that these Q-Tips were in.
Secondly is the Dove Hairspray – not even for me though, but for Taylor. He is at that age where hair is pretty important and these new styles, even for boys, really require some styling products. Taylor got a new styled cut a few weeks ago that is short on the sides and back, but the front is longer and he wears it straight and combed a bit to one side. It covers one of his eyes (no I don’t know how he can see LOL). Anyway, he needed some hairspray to hold that front part and I had the Dove. His first question – it doesn’t smell like a girl does it mom? Nope, this is the unscented extra hold and doesn’t have much of a scent at all and it really holds that long swatch of hair in place for him.
