Funeral Today

Grandma's funeral is today. We are getting ready to leave and head up to the country in a few minutes. I am really not looking forward to today at all. Sigh.

All weekend I have been trying to keep myself busy and think about other things. It seems like everything reminds me of Grandma though. Even this morning when I was getting ready I was wondering if Grandma would like my shirt when she saw it - those thoughts just pop into your head and then it makes you even sadder when you realize that you will not see her again. I do the same thing still with my Grandma and Grandpa H. when I think about them. Sigh.

Sigh.

Cherish all the memories of your grandmom. I lost my grandmom twenty years ago - she was my best friend. I spend hours telling the kids stories about her. I know its hard but always remember the good times & pass the memories down...it keeps her alive in all your hearts :) My prayers are with your family.

I feel for you...honestly, that is one thing in our life we have no control over and it's the hardest.I'm sending you a big hug and praying for you some comfort.
My brother and 2 of my sister-in-laws died between the ages of 40 and 45 i was younger than them and it honestly altered my life each time, i had to go threw this and with both sets of grandparents. It's so hard to psyically let go because we never mentally and in our soul.

Oh Robyn HUGE (HUGS) from me to your whole family. I lost my Mom in September and I am still having such a hard time with it. The malls just got their little blown glass stands and I went right over and started looking at what I could get her for Christmas this year. (She loved collecting blown glass) And as soon as I thought it, I just started crying. Keep all your precious memories of your Grandma and make sure you pass those memories down. She will always be with you in your heart. My prayers are with you and your entire family. God Bless!
My Heartfelt Condolences - Jennifer
