Taylor drinks mostly water, he has always been that way. He still enjoys juices though, but nothing overly sweet – probably because I used to always cut his juice with 50% water also. When the request came in to review Apple & Eve’s Fruitables fruit & vegetable juice he said he would be happy to taste them.
Taylor’s first reaction, “Dang! This is good!” Right away he sa
id it was better than other apple juices he has tried. Hubby’s first reaction, “That’s awesome!” I know, my guys get really excited about simple things. I would have to agree it is good juice. The Apple Harvest flavor really is very apple-y. Instead of tasting like a very sweet apple-flavored drink list most apple juices do, the Apple & Eve Apple Harvest tastes just like it does when you eat an apple. Taylor described it as a “crisp” taste even.
Apple & Eve Fruitables are a mix of both fruit and vegetables – but they totally taste like fruit juice, don’t worry. They have 1/3 less sugar than some other juices and juice drinks also. A serving size is 1 juice box (6.75oz) which has 70 calories, 15mg of sodium, 15g of sugars. It is also gluten free. Taylor is hoping they come out with this in large bottles – right now it is just in juice box form. As a teenager, he is not into the box form right now LOL. Once again, I will say this is a perfect item to tuck in a stocking this time of year too! You can pick up Apple & Eve juices at Wal-Mart nationwide.
