So last week I told you all about the Energizer Energi To Go XP4000 and AP1500. (The winners of that giveaway will be contacted soon). I’ve already had the chance to use both of them.
The XP4000 I used on Christmas Day to do the initial charge on my new GPS (thanks Santa). The GPS unit came with the charger thingie (I’m so technical with names LOL) that plugs into the cigarette lighter on your car, but it did not come with an AC adapter to use with an indoor plug. I didn’t want to go and put my new GPS outside in my car to charge up (I don’t park in a garage). Not a problem – I whipped out my Energizer Energi To Go XP4000 and plugged it into the GPS and was able to charge it up right here in the house. Perfect!
On Christmas Eve we went to my parents house and I was using my iPhone to tweet (discreetly) and then we were looking things up on the internet with my iPhone, and my cousin was using it to look things up – so my battery started draining pretty quickly. I whipped out my Energizer Energi To Go AP1500 and just took my regular case off the iPhone and slipped it into the charger and presto – I had plenty of battery life to use it the rest of the night.
This made me think that with winter in full swing here in St. Louis, we might get hit with some winter storms that knock out the power again like we have in the past. This is another perfect reason to have the Energi To Go products on hand. If you keep them charged up (the XP4000 holds its charge for up to a year!) then you will have power on hand for your cell phones and other gadgets that might really be needed during a power outage. You know those outages always seem to happen when your items already need charged to start with! During the rest of the year we occasionally get severe thunderstorms that knock out power as well – once again – the Energizer Energi To Go items will be so helpful for emergency power when that happens I’m sure.
