I’ve decided to give me weekly menu plan the name of “Tasty Tuesday”. Each week (hopefully) I will post my dinner menu plan for the week. The linky will be on each week also so you can add your own menu links. I love seeing what other people are eating too – so please play along.
Chicken Parmesan and Pasta, Garlic Bread
This is Taylor’s favorite and I don’t make it all that often since it is fairly labor intensive making it all from scratch – but he’s worth it :-) I was supposed to make this Sunday, but we went out – oops.
Wednesday
Tacos
My cousin and her hubby come over on Wednesday nights for dinner and we play board games or Wii after. Tacos are always a hit. This week on Twitter lots of folks mentioned homemade tacos and it sounded perfect. I love those stand up taco shells they have!
Thursday
Fettuccine with Shrimp Scampi and Broccoli, Garlic Bread
I’m going to be good and not have a big portion of this since it has cream and butter in it. This is one of Hubby and Taylor’s favorite things I make for them. The sauce really isn’t hard to make at all from scratch – so much better than any pre-made sauces. (Another oops I didn’t make it last week)
Friday
Chili
This I will probably make on Thursday since it is always better the next day. We can eat it for dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday. If you missed my chili recipe here ya go!
Saturday
Quiche
Going to try to come up with a new quiche since we liked the first one we tried so much. Would love any suggestions of ingredients/flavors you like in quiche.
Sunday
Schnitzel & Spaetzle
This was so good when I made it the first time – it’s been a long time so I think I will put it back on the menu. I’m feeling German :-)
Monday
Out
I’m just guessing we will end up going out to eat this day so I’m not planning anything.
