Today I’ve got another great CD to share with you all. Celtic Woman’s newest release, Songs From the Heart. Celtic Woman is an Irish music phenomenon and has just kicked off their US tour (see tour schedule).
The best way I can describe this music is that it is pretty. They are a mix if Irish music and classical sounds. Listening to it makes me feel like their is a romantic movie playing somewhere and this is the soundtrack. Such amazing voices and stories in the songs on this CD. The amazing musicians accompanying them are equally enjoyable. A very calm, but energizing experience.
This newest release features studio recorded versions of the songs performed during their 5th PBS TV Special “Songs from the Heart – Live at Powerscourt House & Gardens.” The Songs from the Heart CD and DVD include contemporary hits like Mariah Carey’s “When You Believe” and Billy Joel’s “Goodnight My Angel” as well as the Irish classics “Galway Bay” and “My Lagan Love”. Fans can also purchase the Songs from the Heart Deluxe Experience Edition CD which includes an 18-month desktop calendar, heart charm keepsake and VIP access to a virtual Celtic Woman online community.
