It’s time for another addition of Monday Mentions. These are little odds and ends that I’ve gotten from PR folks and others during the week that I wanted to make sure I had a chance to share.   • Olympic Fun at Home on the Wii!

  • Simply Asia Foods
    The Chinese New Year started yesterday. Since it feel on Valentine’s Day we didn’t celebrate that – yet. We will be later in the week probably. Simply Asia is not a brand I have tried, but it is in my local store so maybe I will give them a try soon. I did learn that they are giving away great prize packs on their Facebook page and on Twitter @SimplyAsiaFoods

  • Fashion for Haiti
    Starting February 16th, you can purchase this exclusive t-shirt that not only shows your support for Haiti, but does it fashionably. Fashion designers around the world, including Stella Mcartney, Tory Burch and Betsey Johnson to name just a few, are coming together in support of Fashion for Haiti and Zappos.com is teaming up with them in the effort. The T-shirt will be for sale at Zappos for only $25 with $16 of every purchase donated to the Haiti Relief Fund!
  • Cherries Red Recovery
    This Tuesday, February 16 from 6pm-7pm CT there is a Cherries Red Recovery Twitter party hosted by @MomTalkRadio – use the hashtag #RedRecovery At the party we will chat about the benefits of super foods (like cherries), share recipes and tips for heart health, swap exercise tips, and give away great prizes. The next day, February 17, tune into ChooseCherries.com at noon CT for a live heart-healthy cooking class. For every class participant, Cherry Marketing Institute will donate $1 (up to $5,000) to the American Heart Association. Plus they are hosting an “after party” right after the class with trivia questions and even more prizes! RSVP to the party here.
