Every once in a while a product comes along and the name or packaging or yes, even sometimes the commercials alone (even if we don’t really need the product) make us buy. Enter Hippie Chips! I heard about these and the name alone got me, then I find out they also have Rock & Pop popcorn and Sweet Emotions which are sweet treats. I received a big assortment of products and the packaging and flavor names won me over again! These are all made by Rock -n- Roll Gourmet, a company started by musicians who wanted healthier snack choices when they were on the road.
Hippie Chips (don’t you just adore that name?) are a gluten free baked potato chip with 50% less fat than regular chips. They kind of remind me of rice cakes actually, but much thinner and not as “chewy” – they are definitely a crunchy chip. Along with the brand name, the flavor names are just as much fun! “Haight-Ashberry Jalapeno”, “Lime Is On My Side Cracked Pepper”, “Sea of Love Salt, “Woodstock Ranch” (my favorite 
flavor), “White Room Cheddar”, and “Memphis Blues Barbecue” (Hubby and Taylor’s favorite).
The Rock & Pop are flavored popcorns. There is a Jalapeno Korn and a Kettle Korn. I love kettle korn and was not disappointed with this at all. The Rock & Pop also have 0 trans fat!
Then we have the Sweet Emotions which are a multi-grain snack that is sweet. Oh my these are both really good and everyone that tasted them loved them. There is Chocolate Passion which Taylor and I think taste just like the flavor of E.L. Fudge Stripe Cookies and then there is Cinnamon Joy which is also just so delicious. Both come in 90 calorie packages and again have 0 trans fat.
