Comment and Win Giveaway – $500 Visa Gift Card

The last couple of big giveaways have been to win an iPad, but I thought this time we would do a $500 Visa gift card because you can use that towards practically anything you want! My geek friends can buy gadgets, my foodies can go out to eat or buy some of those expensive ingredients to try out, book lovers can stock up for the winter, or you could use it towards your holiday spending even.

This giveaway works pretty much the same as before – for each comment you leave you get an entry. No hoops to jump through required! There are a couple of extra entry methods available too for those interested.

RULE UPDATE 9/22/11

PRIZE: $500 Prepaid Visa Gift Card (US Dollars)

REQUIRED ENTRY: You earn entries just by making comments on any of my OTHER posts (not this one) here on my blog from posts dated August 1, 2011 thru November 30, 2011. That means you go to the other posts (start on the main page if you like) and read and then leave a comment and tell me what you think about that post. Remember – it is only comments you make during the entry period and only on posts during the entry period (from 8/01/11-11/30/11). There is no need to tell me you are entering the giveaway – you are automatically entered just by making the comment (I get an email every time a comment is made). The requirements of getting an entry for your comment are:

• Winners are only contacted via email – IF YOUR EMAIL IS NOT AVAILABLE ON YOUR ENTRY (each one) YOU CAN’T WIN! I use the Disqus commenting system here on my blog and so the easiest way is for you to register and be logged in with them. Logging in to comment via Twitter or Facebook does not mean I can see your email address. Not sure if your email address is available to me? Simply post a test comment here and ask.
• You can earn one entry for EACH comment you make on my different posts dated from August 1, 2011 until November 30, 2011.
• The comment has to be more than thanks, cute, wow, etc. just to get a quick entry
• Only the first comment per post will count
• Only comments made from 8/22/11 to 11/30/11 will count.
• You may not enter on behalf of others or use multiple identities (if I catch you cheating you will be banned for life from all of my giveaways)
• You must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of the United States or Canada
• You must reply within 48 hours to your win notice or I will move on and pick a new winner
• The giveaway ends on November 30, 2011 at 11:59 pm (CT)
