So it looks like the blog has been moved. The comments are still taking a bit longer to get figured out with Disqus, but please be patient.

Testing publishing a post right now with Windows Live Writer now that the switch has been made to WordPress.

Cross your fingers!

    I can see you!! =)

I’m hoping to make the switch to wordpress one day, but I’m unsure who to go with for hosting – I don’t want a big headache. So I would love to hear who you picked.

I went with Host Gator – it was recommended to me by Lakesha Brown @XDWebSolutions who is FABULOUS and helped me with my switch. So far so good….

Awesome! I’ve heard good things about them, and have kind of been leaning that way. Thanks =)

Yay, welcome to WordPress! You did a fabulous job moving everything over. Looks just like your old blog, only better! :)

I hate to be really stupid, but it looks like I’m still logged in with Disqus?  I don’t think it looks that much different here, but for some reason I can’t see the keyboard background as well as I remember it.  It could just be me.  If I didn’t know you had moved it I’m not sure I would have noticed because it’s very much the same to me.

The keyboard in the graphic header you mean? I had to resize that a little and I changed the tagline which took up more room and covered up a bit more of the keyboard. Maybe that is the difference you are noticing?

Moving is such a hassle, whether you do it physically or virtually! I hope it’s all going well for you.

Just wondering why you chose WordPress? My friends own a gallery and are considering their options for a store blog. Thanks!

WordPress offers far more in the way of customizing my blog. Also, while I think blogger is a great tool and easy to use, Google still controls that and they don’t like any form of advertising other than their own – they can yank a blog down anytime they want for that.
