Yes Mom even shares tech tips with me. Pump up the volume by placing your iPhone & iPod
in a bowl. The concave shape amplifies the music. Cool!

Wow, kind of like a parabolic microphone idea! Never thought of this. Too cool!!!
Cool idea…I could have saved Dakotateen about $100!
What an interesting idea-Who would have thought? My 24 yr old is always complaining that when he puts his on to do chores and such around the house he can never hear it. Imagine that! Thanks so much for the tip! :-)
I need a bowl big enough to hold my laptop.
LOL – get out that GIANT popcorn bowl we all seem to have tucked away J
never would have thought of this..what a great tip..no need to carry speakers around..thanks!!
It makes sense to me :) Low tech helps high tech!
Yes – all of our high tech came from low tech – we are just re-utilizing low tech in new ways!
Lol I noticed that when I was cleaning my tub I was too lazy to bust out the radio so I used my iPad and places it on the toilet and it amplified it it was super loud!
Good to know!
Wow, who knew? I’m gonna try this!
Excellent idea! Seriously, your Mom should write a book. :)
That is TOO funny! Ok, was it by accident that someone found this works or was their some sort of scientific study for it that involved Snap, Crackle and Pop?
The science is really about using the bowl as a parabolic reflector
what, seriously? I’m going to have to try this tomorrow when i’m jamming to tunes/ cleaning my disaster-area of a house! (email@example.com)
Well, if I had something to put in the bowl I would try it out. I’ll just turn up the radio.
hahaha omg thats the greatest thing I’ve seen in awhile!
This really works, the other day I was listening to Pandora and remembered seeing this tip in one of your emails, so I tried it and it really worked! Thanks for the tip!!!
