One of my favorite bloggers, Jennifer James, has put out her much anticipated mom blogging predictions for 2012. She does this each year and has a great track record with her predictions. Jennifer is someone I met on my very first junket a few years ago and I have continued to learn so much from her over the years.     I really do hope to see the trend she mentioned -social good. I think that alot more can be done on that subject. One thing I do NOT want to see happen is for folks to go  Pinterest crazy (some already are)

      I like that the social good movements will see more long term programs, not just short one-time only events. For me locally, my long term focus is the St. Louis Area Foodbank.

      Pinterest crazy – I have to admit I love Pinterest!

    Wow Jennifer has a lot of good predictions and I liked the one on google+.  Yes she is very interesting and I like what I read.  Lets see how many of her predictions actually happens.  I cannot wait.  Robyn thanks for sharing this.

    Oooh.   I see only a handful of really charged bloggers out there who have been chosen to really represent companies. I mean, how cool to find a blogger mainstreamed and working at almost celebrity status? That’s like a lightbulb moment to work with “REAL” moms/dads bloggers instead of paying big bucks for PR firms. I can also see that widening of the blog space out there already. I dont know HOW you guys do it, but some blogs  just “take” and others fizzle. I guess, like they say, content and working the social scenes is where everyone gets a leg up. Plus networking.  Pinterest? Never been, YET!  Reading this scares me out of trying a blog myself with my daughter. Been thinking for a long while. I guess some bloggers dont really do it all for the money or glory, but hey, it sure would be fun to make it “count”.

      It really is fascinating to me to watch which bloggers are being selected for things also and which are not. There are a few that I know have numbers and content yet they still do not get selected and then there are others that are selected and I can’t figure out why. The behind the scenes ins and outs of all of these are just fascinating to me.

      Please do try blogging for fun! Even if no company ever approaches you to work with them, you may really find you just truly enjoy the experience!
