Parallel Universes…. I wonder

Wondering abotu parallel universesSo my brain just started wandering and wondering the other day. It must have been after watching Through the Wormhole most likely. One of the ideas is that we are one “being” but spread out onto infinite parallel universes and we can “move” that sense of “being” from universe to universe at will. The physical bodies all stay on their own respective universes.

So…. if this is the case….. could it be that people who, in this universe, are determined to be quirky, strange, not “normal” – including those with some mental diagnosis’s even – actually are behaving “normally” on one of their other universes but that just here it seems a little strange? It’s kind of like when you visit a different country and they have different social rules – it’s not that you are rude in your own country, but in a new country it is a little foreign to you so you come off as strange. For those in different parallel universes maybe that is what is happening and for whatever reason some “beings” just hang on more to that other social rules even when hopping from universe to universe.

Maybe this is where past life memories are also. They could be memories from things that have or are happening on parallel universes instead of past lives here in this universe.

Hmmmm………

Aah, a post after my own heart. :) My astronomy teacher once explained infinity to us as if everything in the entire world was exactly the same… except one thing. And, that one thing was enough made that universe different than the rest There would be a universe where evolution occurred to this very point… except I decided not to comment on your post. There would be an entire universe where I spelled a word wrong. There would be a universe where I was drinking regular Pepsi instead of diet. There would be a universe where I was sitting one inch to the right of where I am sitting now. There would be an entire universe for every single possibility that ever could exist to exist. It’s just crazy… and it’s also why I can’t honestly believe in an infinite universe. Time travel to the future though? Totally do-able. :)

I always enjoy reading about science and about interesting and unusual theories, but when it comes to things like this, I always have too hard a time wrapping my head around it. It all seems too bizarre.

It is 2am and this is far too deep, but I will ponder this a bit later. This is some of the same wild stuff I think about while out mindlessly pulling weeds in the garden or doing something I am doing on auto pilot- hmm I might be able to ponder this while tweeting too :)

I work in a residential treatment facility for kids aged 8 to 17. All of our kids have a mental health diagnosis…this could explain a lot. But then… I just cannot imagine that smearing one’s feces on the wall would be socially acceptable in any universe or dimension.

I really like the idea of parallel universes. worm holes or black holes in space and also the concept of  time travel being a reality some day in the future?  Apparantly if man can imagine it then it can be possible…

I once worked for a spirituality magazine and I interviewed quite a lot of interesting people, some told me there are 12 dimensions, we are in the 4th moving into the 5th, we exist energetically in all (spiritually) but this is the physical, we can only be here once as the person we are (reincarnation) as we hold unique energy and if we reincarnate we are the same soul but different spirit/personality/etc. As for dimensions they said every decision and choice we make leads us to a different reality than in the other dimensions, so while we may have chosen to pursue a specific career/idea/goal/etc here in another reality we may have chosen differently and with a different outcome. I find this facinating. On that note I often wonder what the multi billionaire supermodel me in another dimension is doing and what choices she made that I didnt haha. Damn you reality ;P

Ah! I was thinking about this this afternoon! I read an article in our paper about the God particle and creating mass and creating — the universe and it really gets you thinking. Its so hard for me to even grasp this concept, so I’ll leave it to the pros and the pondering to me!

There was a great PBS special that explored this possibility

I don’t think I’ve ever been to a parallel universe, but I have been to other countries and had to pay attention to their cultural rules.
