Searching for a New Sofa Sleeper

in St. Louis

It is time for a new sofa sleeper at our house. Hubby actually ends up sleeping on ours most of the time because he snores, a lot. Sadly, the one we have now did not hold up as long as we would have liked. I’m sure it doesn’t help that we really did not buy a really great quality product to start with.

We have a new La-Z-Boy store in the St. Louis area (Brentwood) and that is where we plan on getting our new sofa sleeper. Thursday night they are having a private VIP event that we will be attending so Hubby and I can look in person and try out the sofa sleepers in person. The last few days we have been browsing on La-Z-Boy.com at the selections. Our biggest decision is what fabric we want.  I am amazed at how huge the selection is!

I’ll share some photos after the event of the store with all of you. If you are in the St. Louis area be sure to stop in the new Brentwood La-Z-Boy store soon though at 8324 Eager Road, Brentwood MO 63144. Right now they have a 25% off sale plus you can enter to win a $5,000 new room for your own home (enter through July 9).

Disclosure: I am co-hosting the VIP event in St. Louis and will be receiving a gift from La-Z-Boy for participating. Opinions are my own.

I have two La-Z-Boy sofas in my house and my husband ends up falling asleep on one each night. My father comes over sometimes and he falls asleep on them as well.

Good to know that they are sleep worthy!

I love La-Z-Boy and we could use a new sofa sleeper. Time to go shopping.

We need to do some updating soon- the last we bought was at Nebraska Furniture Mart in 1992 (eeeeeck) This set is Lazy Boy and has held up really well. It will likely be the brand we get again- hubby falls asleep on ours all the time (OK I do too)

I also love my La-Z-Boy!  You can’t go wrong.  But you should have the hub screened for sleep apnea with snoring like that.

Hubby doesn’t want to spend the $1,000 for the sleep apnea study

Oh it’s tough to make a decision like that, because if you are like me, when I buy something like that, it’s going to stay for a while.  Take your time and make sure you love what you are getting!  Good luck!

Its a very tough decision, I have been thinking about La-Z-Boy for our next purchase, I purchased a cheap Ikea Klippan sofa 2 years ago and the spring broke on Friday. Called Ikea and no warranty on that item, lesson learned is you get what you pay for.

Has your husband tried the nasal strips (they open the airway), they are apparently good. I’m buying some soon as lately Ive been starting to snore and as I am going to sleep I hear a noise, wake thinking what was THAT? then realise it was me starting to snore, talk about annoying, I am waking myself up snoring (didnt even now that was possible hahaha). I think Ive started snoring lately though as I got poorly and gained weight, otherwise Ive no idea why it started, all I know is it is annoying, I dont think I could marry a snorer, well ok marry but maybe not share a room haha. Then again Im my own worst enemy right now waking myself up snoring. Then again…..at least Im not sleepwalking.
