Hot Diggity Dogs

While I really like hot dogs, I am a bit of a snob about them you could say. They really need to have the right look and smell if I am going to think about eating them. A few years ago I discovered Hebrew National Hot Dogs and they are some of my favorites now. They are a little more expensive than some other brands, but they really are worth it I think. They have a delicious flavor and texture no matter how I cook them.

Hebrew National created the following infographic that I thought was fun. In the summer I like hot dogs grilled outside and in cooler months I like to split them lengthwise and grill them inside in a skillet – kind of like a diner would make them. Hubby and T like them grilled, but also boiled – ick! To each his own though.

Hebrew National also has a contest going on their Facebook page for those interested.

What is your favorite way to eat hot dogs?

shhhh I just didn’t want to say Ball Park franks :P Hebrew National are pretty darn good but for some reason around here you almost have to search them out .

I like european weiners and bratwurts with potato salad or fried with perogies.  Once in a while a BBQ’d regular beef hot dog with mustard, relish, onions, and ketchup is a familiar outdoorsy snack!

We love Hebrew National and they are the only hot dogs we serve at home.  Great post!
