Red, White, and Blue Food and Drink

Since it is SO hot for many of us, this is a great food idea that has no cooking at all. A simple bowl of blueberries for the star field and rows of watermelon cubes and feta cubes for the stripes. This patriotic fruit and cheese plate idea is from Wenderly!

Cookin’ Cowgirl has a great and easy recipe for Firecraker Cookies. This is another project the kids would be great at helping with.

Even though so many of us do not shoot off fireworks at home any longer, you can still impress your guests with this firecracker cake. This is from Hershey’s. You could really decorate this any way you wanted on the outside though with what you have on hand.

To quench your thirst I’ve got 3 recipes for red, white, and blue margaritas that have been really popular since I posted them last year.
