If you are in St. Louis surely you know of The Magic House. I grew up going there and took my son there often as well. Just a wonderful children’s museum – ok museum doesn’t sound like the right word, it’s more just a wonderful science and exploration place for kids.On July 28 you and your family can spend an evening of fun at The Magic House to support Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. When Taylor was born he spent time in the NICU at Cardinal Glennon since he was a preemie and they were fabulous! Obviously, both of these places hold a spot in my heart.

The 10th Annual Scoops of Fun to benefit SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center event will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at The Magic House in Kirkwood, MO. From 6-9 p.m., the whole family can enjoy exploring The Magic House and eat tasty ice cream treats from a variety of partners. We’ll also have some exciting raffle baskets with items like Cardinals tickets, Zoo passes, City Museum passes and much, much more!

For more than 50 years, SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center has answered the call to serve the sick and injured children of Missouri, Illinois and beyond. We rely on the support of our community events, programs and donor contributions to continue to provide the best possible care for our patients and families, regardless of their ability to pay.

You can register here for the event. Adults are $20, kids $8 or a family pass for $50. Remember, all proceeds benefit the kids at Cardinal Glennon.
