Need to freshen up the smell inside your car? This little Febreze Car Vent Clips are nice and last about a month. Just like the rest of the Febreze items I have tried, they really do work quite well. Febreze sent me one to try out – you can find out more and see the scents on their site.

You have to activate the clip when you open the package by pushing the little clip part on the back until you hear a click. Very simple to do (pic 1) and then you just slide it onto the vent you want. You can adjust the intensity dial on the top also to allow more or less of the scent out.

I found the lowest setting was fine for my car, otherwise the scent can be a bit strong. Also, when I took the photos above I show them in the front of my car. I could not leave the Febreze Car Vent Clip there though because I have vents that automatically oscillate in the front. Instead I just moved it to one of the vents in the back seat and it was still great at freshening up the air. We did have to wiggle it to get it in the right spot though so that it did not “whistle”. I think this is just something that you have to do with anything you put where air is moving around it, no biggie. I will be buying more of these for my car – I like the Linen & Sky scent.

Do you use an air freshener in your car?

Disclosure: As mentioned I above I received a free sample of this item to facilitate the review. The opinions are my own.

I might have to take a looksie for these- we have the kind you put in the vents right now and they lose it really quick. We have tried several different products, and I like Fabreze. Thanks for the review!

I usually do not like scents in the air – like those plug in thingys. They all make me a little sick. I worry about breathing the chemicals in. I do like some of the frebreeze, but I spray it and go away so it isn’t in the air going into our lungs. I do the same for the car – spray it and leave it to settle. Not how those cute little things would work for me. Thanks for the info!

I do not use car air fresheners. My car, I don’t think, smells…even though I carry a big dog around. If there was a pleasant light scent that I liked, I might try one.

I’ve been wanting to try this. I have used two car air fresheners from Bath & Body Works but they didn’t last one month – more like two weeks. I love Febreze products so I’m sure that I will like this.

I didn’t realize Febreze made car air fresheners! I used to use them in my car a lot, but haven’t bought any air fresheners in a few years. Need to check these out!

I don’t use air fresheners in the car, but I have used Febreze products at home. This might be a nice change of pace for the car. Thanks for the review!

Not at the moment, but with 2 kids and a giant boxer we take here and there, I’m sure we could use it. I looked on the Febreze site, and they have some interesting scents .. Thai Dragon Fruit.. might be worth a try?:)

Yes I use air freshner in my car and it happens to be the Febreeze car vent clip! I put mine on the highest setting because my car had a strong odor when I bought it (used) and it really needed it. The smallest setting did not work for me but at the highest setting, the inside of my car smells wonderful. Now that I got the smell out at the highest setting, I am going to switch back to the lowest setting and see how it does and if not, back to the highest setting it goes. KFZeigler@hotmail.com

I constantly have an air freshener in my car. As lame as it sounds, I love getting the “new car scent” because it makes me feel like I’m extending the life of my beautiful blue baby.
