h.h. gregg Stores Open in St. Louis

Today I went to a new store in the St. Louis area, h.h. gregg. I honestly had never heard of them before I was invited. They have just opened 4 stores here in St. Louis that are the first of their stores west of the Mississippi River, but they have been around since the 1950’s. They carry lots of appliances, electronics, and more.

A huge thanks to Whirlpool who invited me, and some other great local bloggers, to an event in the Chesterfield store today. They shared with us about some new products and fed us a nice lunch and even gave us a goody bag. Plus a couple of lucky bloggers, Melissa of Sippy Cup Mom and Danyelle of TheCubicleChick both won appliances today! And I got a very nice goody bag with all sorts of cool stuff in it and some h.h. gregg gift cards.

I was happy to see Verizon and Samsung right as I walked in the door!

I was really surprised they had fitness equipment! They offer deliver and setup in your home too which would be nice with these bigger machines. They even have some of the elliptical machines which is what I think I am getting next.

Furniture too! Lots of great comfy sofas and sectionals for watching TV on. I love the red sectional especially!

Tons of digital cameras, even some of the fancier kind.

Computers – laptops and desktops – and accessories for your computers.

A small selection of shelf stereo units. They also had this surround sound section with a big sectional and all the different systems around it – cool.

Lots and lots and lots of televisions!

Coffee machines, vacuum cleaners and even a mattress department (do you see the big sheep on the bed?)

Tons of appliances of all types. Many different brands. We saw Whirlpool’s new Ice Collection which are black and white appliances, but with stainless steel accents AND instead of the bumpy textured surface like we are all used to, they are smooth instead! Very nice looking. Whirlpool also showed us the Duet Washer and Dryer which are top loading. I loved that the washer has this air cycle on it and if you just need a shirt (or small load) done overnight, you can wash them and set this and it will use air to dry them overnight for you too – no need to put them in the dryer!

The Maytag Repairman was there today too. He shared with us about the traditional top loading washer and dryers from Maytag. No agitator means you can fit a lot more clothes in them. There is also a cool site – maytag.com/bestcleaning to find out what your families “stain stats” are – go give it a try! For my family, we have 22,930 potential stains over a ten year period!

I need a new microwave. Badly. I’ve never beenn to an h.h. gregg store, it’s the kind I’m almost afraid to go in because I will WANT. :)

We have hh gregg here. The store is about the same as Circuit City was, no BFD. I bought a tv there. I would like one of those fancy washers and dryers too. The set I have is very basic and pretty old.

I don’t think I’ve ever been in an h.h. gregg, but looking at your pics, it reminds me of Best Buy. I think the next thing we will need to purchase is a fridge.

I’m afraid to admit my next appliance purchase will be a washer and dryer. I hope not anytime soon. However I have my eye out for a new camera. Mine was stolen last year. :( So, how are the sales over at this new store?

I’m short, many of us know this but when I’m standing next to you I tend to feel shorter. Ok, so that probably happens a lot. But when I saw the picture of you with the Maytag Repairman, I’m certain that I would have been lucky to reach his knee caps!

will half to check this out bought a new washer and dryer on credit as thats the only way i could , almost paid of next is a dish washer, looking for items that will help with my disablilitys.
