Buying healthier and organic foods is too expensive. Have you ever said that? I know I have plenty of times. Apparently, that just is not true though. Healthy Food Happy Wallet is a conference that is about learning how to buy real and healthy food on any budget. Tickets are only $45 for the entire day and that includes lunch.

Would that I lived closer. I’d be very interested in the bloggers who are speaking (from Little House on the Prairie Living and Healthy Life Deals.) Lots of good info on frugal living and couponing. Was also on the Frostbite gourmet ice cream website looking at their flavors and it all looked so good I think I may have cried a little bit. Champagne ice cream? Yes, yes..yes.

They are good bloggers indeed! Even if you can’t make the event you can learn much from their blogs.

Frostbite does great ice cream – I’ve been lucky enough to have it on several occasions here in St. Louis!

i buy a lot of bulk items, even bring my own containers to use, so we eat healthier and dont generate as much plastic waste thismomwins@gmail.com

Unfortunately, I don’t live in a large city, so they probably will not offer a workshop like this near me, but it’s a great idea. Please let us know if it’s useful!

I would LOVE to attend this but all things craptastic have happened here. I do still have better than a month …. I’m thinking about it. I’m also thinking that I have GOT to learn to drive in St. Louis!

I’m not sure I could spend $45 to learn how to save money. By not spending $45? Sorry. I’m sure there is a lot to it, many things to learn. I just can’t wrap my mind around it.

It sounds interesting but I don’t think I would pay $45 to go. My budget it already tight enough I would be thinking about the food I could buy with the $45. Are you going? I see it is in November.. will you be sharing any of the infomation you learn if you go?

    • http://www.RobynsOnlineWorld.com/ Robyn’s Online World

I’m not sure yet if I will be going. Even if you do not go you can learn a lot on the blogs of the two putting on the event.

Are you covering this? I’d like to get information from the bloggers covering this because I don’t have the cash to make it either. Thanks!

Yikes! Sounds a little pricey. I know I can buy an IKEA blue bag (the behemoth one) full of fruits and veggies at this one market in SoCal for $40. That’s a lot of juicing goodies!
