Moscato Cocktail Recipes

Moscato CocktailWine Wednesday had even more to offer and spilled over to last night also. I mentioned that I could not find the specific soda for one of the Refresh Red Moscato cocktails I wanted to try. What I did find at the grocery store was more Sparkling Ice which is a flavored sparkling mountain spring water with zero calories (that zero calorie thing was just a nice bonus – it wasn’t planned). I have had Sparkling Ice in the past (they sent me samples) and I really liked it. They have a Pomegranate Blueberry flavor so I thought I would try that since I could not find the Canada Dry Pomegranate Cherry I was looking for. Not exactly the same, but it sounded like it would be good. I was right!

What should we call cocktail #1?

  • 1 part Sparkling Ice Pomegranate Blueberry
  • 3 parts Refresh Red Moscato by Turning Leaf

On Wednesday I did not even mention that we also had another Moscato to try out. This is Madria Sangria Moscato. Another hit! This one is much fruitier and sweeter than the Refresh Moscatos we tried. Of course, you kind of expect that in something called a Sangria. Serve nicely chilled and enjoy!

Moscato CocktailWhen I picked up the Pomegranate Blueberry water I also picked up the Black Raspberry – anything with that flavor and Hubby will instantly claim it. He decided to try a cocktail too but he opted to mix the Sparkling Ice with the Madria Sangria Moscato. I was a little surprised by this because alone, he felt that one was a tad to sweet for his liking (to be honest I just think he forgot which was which).

What should we call cocktail #2?

  • 1 part Sparkling Ice Black Raspberry
  • 1 part Madria Sangria Moscato

I know many of you like the various drink recipes I share, usually on Friday. Some of them are more complicated and a bit more difficult for home bars. These today though are super easy for anyone, just 2 ingredients. Easy!

Remember – always drink responsibly!

Disclosure: I have received samples of the brands featured here. I really like all of them and will continue to buy them on my own. Opinions are my own.

These look great but since I don’t drink, I’m waiting for you to share some good “virgin” drinks.

These sound mouth-wateringly delish! I love blueberries, so the first one would be a fav, I’d call it a “Blueberry Pom-Nom”..:)

The second cocktail sounds juicy, however, ever since I had my daughter my body won’t let me consume alcohol. It’s almost like an allergy. I wasn’t a “drinker” before, but I loved fruity drinks. On a side note : I’d better never give up Coca-cola for 9 months haha.
