power of the pinkA reminder to pick up a pink CFL bulb at Walmart in the next few days to use on your outdoor porch light throughout October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Here in Missouri, along with Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee, this program is called Power of the Pink. Walmart sells the pink bulbs, but they go quickly so pick one up ASAP. From sharing this in past years I know that many of you across the country also have similar programs in your states too.

Disclosure: None, just sharing something I believe in with my readers.

Ravzie, I was reading your comments posted a year ago and those that followed. Have you had a change of heart towards support?

Geez, my own sister works at Walmart and she NEVER mentioned these bulbs, I know she purchases products like this. Yet here I am, on your blog discovering these things. I’m totally text griping her out from the iPad. :)
