Since I am primarily using the Samsung Galaxy SIII phone and the Galaxy 10.1 tablet now I have been discovering some new apps to use on my Android devices. Here are eight of the latest apps I have started using that I am really happy with.
- 7 Little Words – Game
This is a word game. You are given clues and the answers are all in word parts to pick from. I am highly addicted to it. The game itself has free parts, but you can also buy more packs of games for 99¢. - AfterFocus – Photo Editing
This app lets you make the background of your device photos have that cool blurry look. Kind of like what your friends with the super cool cameras can take. Very easy to use. - Dolphin Browser – Utility
My husband recommended this app to me. It is an internet browser but with lots of extra add-ons to customize it as you please. If you browse the web with your phone this is the one app I would for sure. - HD Widgets – Customizer
One of the things people really do enjoy about Android phones is the seemingly endless ways you can customize it. HD Widgets gives you a time/date/weather widget of multiple sizes and a gazillion different style and color combinations. - Mighty Grocery Lite – Shopping
I am a list maker and this app lets me make multiple lists for different stores. This app, even this lite version, has a lot to offer. You can add in costs, tax rates, coupons, change skins, backup to the cloud, and on and on. I have not even begun to tap into the full power of this, but even just using for individual shopping lists for different stores I go to is worth it. - PicSay Pro – Photo Editing
I happened to get this on sale for 25¢ – love it! This is the photo editor I use the most for general editing from my phone or tablet. - TrustGo Antivirus and Mobile Security – Utility
I actually found this to start as an add-on for the Dolphin Browser. It does more though and scans your apps for malware, helps with memory management, etc. - Enjoy Learning World Map Puzzle – Education
This game is challenging. It is great for anyone who wants to learn a bit more about where all the countries are. I know I find Europe and Africa particularly difficult to keep up with. It keeps track of your time to complete even so you can challenge yourself or others.
What is your favorite app for your smartphone or tablet?
Disclosure: None, just sharing some apps I like.
