What is your favorite Halloween Candy? [infographic]

Cool infographic about Halloween Candy! I agree with the 68% of the kids who like getting chocolate the most! My least favorite is that icky stuff that is wrapped in black or orange paper, some sort of chewy taffy-like thing or something – blech!

That’s so funny, my absolute favorite are the peanut butter Mary Janes (the icky taffy stuff:) I just love them. I’m weird, I know. Followed closely by PB cups and the like. And YES, I will be totally be snagging stuff from my kid’s bag:)

My favorite candy to get are those fun size packs of M&Ms. My son is old enough to eat them this year though, so he probably will not want to share! And I agree with you on the taffy like candy wrapped in orange and black paper – never liked that!

  When my son was younger he would not share the M&Ms with Hubby and I – those were his favorite.

My fav is ‘Oh Henry”. Can’t beat any of the combo – nuts, chocolate and the sometimes hard (Toffey?) in the center. Chewing this stuff gets stuck so don’t like the sweets going between my teeth ;o)

I used to like Bit o Honey and Chick O Sticks. Perhaps I just like O’s, LOL. I like SweetTarts too, but they always make sores on the roof of my mouth, ouch! I still remember when people gave out things like popcorn balls and caramel apples. But nowadays, give me the Reeses pumpkins!!!

  My uncle used to love those and we always brought him a bag when we visited. We called them circus peanuts but I’m not sure if that’s the official name. I never cared for them – ick!

Thanks for posting the infographic! My candy cravings go in cycles, but consistently, I love Vanilla Tootsie Rolls at Halloween. I dig through the bag for all the light blue wrappers. I also like Milky Way, PB M&Ms, and Almond Joy. Won’t be having much candy this year, though!

I love candy–especially chocolate! I didn’t get to go trick-or-treating when I was young, but something I always wanted was homemade caramel apples and popcorn balls! As much as I love taffy, I don’t ever grab those orange & black MaryJane’s, but I have to agree with Joseph: those marshmallow peanuts are pretty awful!

  I don’t think I have ever tried a popcorn ball. I have been seeing on Pinterest lots of pins to make caramel apples, but just slices instead of whole apples.

I love the regular milk chocolate Hershey bars and the Reese’s Cups. My kids like suckers and the gooey sticky stuff (gummy eye balls to name one) so it works out well. I eat their chocolate and they can have the candy that I don’t like. I cringe though when I take them to the dentist soon after Halloween. ;)

Great infographic! Chocolate is usually my first choice year-round, but at Halloween I do like some of those mellowcreme pumpkins…I have to get my fix ,but once a year is enough!

You are SO right about those black and orange taffy things…who thinks they’re good? And candy corn? Oh, how about raisins? Man, I remember sitting around, sorting out the candy after trick-or-treating like it was yesterday. It was more like 30+ years ago, but alas.

Almost anything with chocolate in it, EXCEPT Almond Joy or the other coconut thing. I agree with you about the black and orange wrapped candy. I think it is a peanut butter flavoring but is pretty much disgusting. Also disgusting (in my opinion) is candy corn. Only good use is in decorating with it. Eating it – not so much. Snickers, M&M’s, & Kit-Kats are my favorite!

My absolute fave candy is twix. I would barter with my sibs to try and rake in as many twix as possible. =P i think the worst thing its ive ever gotten trick or treating were chestnuts.

i absolutely hate orange marshmallow peanuts, candy corn, jelly beans, or any candies that are like any of those lol my girls and i go through their candy when they get home to check for safety. they usually put to the side the ones they don’t like, but if they know i like it, they’ll give it to me lol then we take the ones they don’t like and give those away with the candy we already hand out.

I love love love my Starbursts, but I also love the basics like Tootsie Rolls. Even better, making flavor “twists” out of the flavored Tootsie Rolls – like mixing the orange with the regular chocolate…yum.
