Disney Pixar’s BRAVE Now On Demand plus Giveaway

BRAVE On Demand

Even though my son is older, Hubby and I still enjoy animated movies. T is still in that stage where he thinks they are just for kids but I am sure he will come around one of these days to realize they are fun for people of all ages. The latest must see for me is Disney Pixar’s BRAVE which is now available On Demand via your cable or satellite provider. I heard so much positive feedback about this movie on friend’s blogs when it first came out that I know I am going to enjoy it. Here is a trailer in case you are not familiar with BRAVE.

“Bursting with heart, unforgettable characters and Pixar’s signature humor, BRAVE is fun for the whole family.”
“Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In Brave, a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts.”

Rated PG.
Like BRAVE on Facebook
Visit the official websiteI am excited to see an animated film with a strong female who is not mean or evil especially. Even though I have a son, I always tried to find ways to encourage him to understand that men and women can be heroes and strong and courageous. We also happen to like the historical period movies like this (animated or not) so I think Hubby and I will both like this one. There is a scene with a bear that I have heard is a bit scary and it is rated PG so not for the really little kiddos – but the older kiddos should enjoy it and be able to handle it.

Do you plan on watching BRAVE On Demand? Or have you already seen it?

I have been wanting to see Brave since it hit theatres, but my boyfriend and I have yet to make it. He does have On Demand so maybe we can stay in and watch it soon! I love the fiery spirit she has. It reminds me of The Little Mermaid, which is my favorite movie.

Required Entry: I’ve seen Brave with my son, and I think one of my favorite things about it was that it showed what both the mother and the daughter did wrong while at the time they each thought they were right and the other was wrong. When they were having the imaginary conversations with the other, alone, really was a clear chance to see what happens when you stop communicating and just think you know what the other person is going to say.
