Hair Bands of the 80s Throwback Thursday

I was a teen in the 80s and hair bands were huge! You cannot help but giggle a little though looking back at some of the hair, clothing, and yes even make-up on some of these men in these hair bands. I thought this would be a fun Throwback Thursday. Plus, while I’m writing this You Give Love a Bad Name is playing in my head!

I think I was inspired for this throwback by the latest Jack in the Box commercial where Jack is in a hair band and is showing a video to his son about how he met his wife. It cracks me up!

Bon Jovi is the only one of these bands that I used to listen to, but I definitely remember the distinctive rocker style of the 80′s!

Is it terrible that I got these right, lol!! Tesla, Krokus, Quiet Riot, Mr. Big, Slaughter.. I could go on (which is even worse ;) ). And the most awful confession of all is that I still like some of the music. ;)

So funny!! I was never a big fan of any of these, maybe Bon Jovi. Not a hard rock fan. The 80s were all about Come on Eileen (the hairy armpit song), Take on Me, (going into the comic strip song), I Ran (the bad red eye makeup song), all of the Breakfast Club songs, stuff like that for me, LOL.

so so so funny that you posted this. Just last night my hubby was watching old 1980s videos on youtube and brought up a few of these! LOL what a mess they were! LOL
