One of the things I love and hate about Android devices is the ability to customize. I say hate because it can get a tad confusing for many people and they get frustrated. I say love because there are some really cool apps, like the Regina 3D Launcher Pro app and it’s accessory apps that can make your android device look amazing.
Today I am sharing some screenshots of a Samsung Galaxy S4 that is utilizing the Regina 3D Launcher Pro. These are from Hubby’s actual phone.
This is Hubby’s home screen (he is currently really into tractors). He has also added the additional Regina Weather app that you see at the top. Again, there is more dimension on these than what I can show you in a screen capture. You will also notice that the row of apps towards the bottom (starts with phone) has 5 icons across, not just 4 that is standard. Below that is a small bar that remains constant on each of the screens with the app tray icon in the center and your choice of other apps on either side. Hubby has camera and photo gallery there.
The app tray shows all of your apps and it is a little fancier than your standard view of apps on an android device. It has more dimension when you move list around. You can also tap on the numbers at the top to go directly to that page of apps rather than scrolling through all of them.
Another extra app is the Regina Launcher Theme which will give you more cool wallpapers to use.
Regina also offers several other widgets along with the weather/clock, appointments, to do lists, and more.
In the settings there are several options for visual effects. The more you use the cooler it looks, but of course it does draw more on your battery and performance. Adjust to fit your needs and use.
Each workspace page can have a different background, this is another of Hubby’s pages/workspace that has a wood plank background and some other apps and widgets.
Do you see those faint yellow lines crossing under the app that Hubby’s thumb is on? I know they are hard to see, but in real life it is easier. These guidelines help you arrange icons exactly where you want on the screen instead of just being snapped arbitrarily to a grid like the standard android OS does.
This page shows all of Hubby’s workspaces (pages) and he can delete any of them easily or add more of them.
Even better is that everything shown here for the app, including the add-ons, is free! There may be other things Hubby has not yet encountered that are for sale, but so far everything is free. This is the launcher that he found to replace “Launcher Pro” app (not Regina) that was no longer supported (after he bought it of course).
So if you want your android to look even more cool give Regina 3D Launcher Pro and it’s accompanying apps a try.
Do you use a launcher on your android device?
