fulfill 2014 word

I am not sure where I first saw this, but many of my peers are creating their “word of the year” for themselves. This sounded like a great idea and I have been thinking about what word would serve me best in 2014 and finally I came up with the word fulfill.

Merriam-Webster defines fulfill as…

merriam-webster fulfill definition

Fulfillment is not always my strong point. I have a ton of ideas and good intentions, but I have been known to drop the ball on things and so in 2014 I will be working on that by focusing on my word, fulfill.

Have you created a word of the year for yourself? What is your word?

I need to be happy. I need to be happy with what I have.

Happy is one of the best words of all!

Fulfill is a good one. I might choose ‘achieve,’ with a similar message.

I kept looking at the thesaurus to find just the right word and went back and forth between several and achieve was one of them as well.

Celebrate, no matter how big or small achievements are we need to celebrate or reward ourselves in some way.

That is a fabulous word and you know I use any reason to celebrate!
