For the last couple of weeks I have been trying out samples of the new Suave Professionals Natural Infusion hair care line that they sent to me. I use and try out a lot of Suave products on my own because frankly the price is so good. My one favorite Suave item was their raspberry bar soap but I cannot find that anywhere any longer sadly.

This new line has several different varieties you can pick from based on your hairs needs. I opted to try the one for all day body because growing up in the 80s I am still all about the big hair. Okay, so it is not quite as big now but I do like to still have a lot of body – I’m just not a flat hair kind of gal.

The shampoo and conditioner have seaweed and lotus blossoms in them and are free from parabens and dyes. They did their job to clean and condition my hair although I was expecting a tiny bit more volume. What I really and truly loved though was the scent of these. They smell soooo good! Honestly, it is that really good kind of scent that usually only the salon shampoo has but this is in Suave! Love it!

Suave-Professionals-Natural-Infusion-Seaweed-foamThe other product they sent was Leave-In Foam. It is kind of like mousse. Instead of being an aerosol like most mousse cans are though this is a pump and it comes out like the foamy hand-soap does – but a little “fluffier”. It is also paraben and dye free. I have only tried this on my wet hair (damp) using about 3 pumps for my shorter hair and then styled it with a blow dryer and it worked well to keep my hair smooth but still have some body. It says you can use just 1 pump of the foam on dry hair to help tame flyaways but I have not tried this method yet.

The shampoo and conditioner are both under $3 each, the foam is a bit more at just under $5. Still both decent prices on hair care compared to some of the expensive stuff out there. The new line is in stores now so you should be able to find it pretty easily. There are some other varieties in the Suave Professionals Natural Infusion line also.

I change up my hair care items often and am not stuck to just one brand ever but I definitely would continue using the foam for sure. The shampoo and conditioner I am not sure about, only because I wanted a bit more body, but I sure did love the scent.

Right now on the Suave Beauty Facebook page you can enter their #RadiantWishes sweepstakes. One of the entry methods is via Twitter for a chance to win a trip, day at the spa or products. The other enter is for samples and coupons for the Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Body Care products. The sweepstakes runs until March 2, 2014. Good luck!

I’m glad this has a good smelling scent. The foam sounds like a great product. I may have to check it out the next time I’m at Walgreens.

love seeing a brand like this be “free from parabens and dyes!” That really excites me because my bath/body stuff is really expensive since I only buy vegetarian/organic/natural/toxin-free brands. Seeing the cheaper, conventional brands jumping on the non-toxic train really is thrilling!
