infographics logoFor this week’s infographic I found a really helpful guide about wine. Be sure to click on the infographic to see the full size to make it more readable as there is a lot of info on this one but in small print. This infographic is from Wine Folly and their site has an assortment of other helpful tips too.

Even if you do not ever plan on becoming a connoisseur of wine, having a basic understanding of the terms and types can be useful. This simple chart has provided me those basics that I still did not know even though I do enjoy drinking wine.

What is your favorite kind of wine?

That *was* really helpful! :) ….and a tip I ran across today …for cooking wine, freeze it in ice cube trays and then bag until you’re ready to use it. Neat!

This is pretty handy. I will have to share it with my brother. He liked to think he is quite the wine connoisseur. I usually like a Pinot Gris or a Chardonnay.

I know nothing about wines at all. I mean nothing. I like a swert wine thoough rather than a dry wine. The sweeter the better!

That’s a nice infographic. Some of my friends are (wannabe) sommeliers, but I bet even they would learn something from this.

Have you ever tried German wine? I had some last weekend at a friend’s house and absolutely awesome!
