Toys, toys, toys! Even though I am 44 years old I still actually love toys. The toys I’m sharing with you today all came from the sponsors of #SweetSuite, a blogger toy event, and I have tried them out – or my nephew, Colby, has. We both recommend these for the upcoming holidays! Keep watching for more toy ideas throughout the holiday season too.

Creativity Can

Creativity Can 01
This is my favorite toy to share today. This little can was filled with all sorts of miscellaneous items for crafting. Creativity Can has several different cans with various themes ranging from $10-$20. The one we have here is smaller – there promo can I believe – which they actually offer free to schools, non-profits, etc. Colby is just a tiny bit young for it, but I know he loves being creative so I thought we would give it a try. He loved it too! Here he is “unboxing” all the goodies inside…

Then the creativity started. For Colby, it was more about the process of creation rather than the finished product. This is the way I think arts and crafts should be for kids. He made several random things and reused the pieces even. The one more traditional craft he came up with were the “flowers” he made for his mom with the little candy wrappers and pompoms. I plan on buying him more of these in the future for Colby and other children. Really great open ended fun play and creativity!

Kidz Bop #26 – Music

Kidz Bop 26 CD

We took a little time out to dance to the latest Kidz Bop music CD. These CDs are today’s most popular pop music but recorded to be kid friendly. Colby instantly recognized some of the songs as ones he has heard on the radio even though they were the Kidz Bop versions. They are available as CDs plus you can also buy digital versions from iTunes and the Google Play store. Here is Colby dancing to the music…

Paw Patrol Racers

paw patrol Paw Patrol is an animated kid’s show on Nickelodeon where the characters are dogs who help out the community. This is Chase in a Paw Patrol Racer. Colby loves anything with wheels. They have a great website that shows the other toys available as well as video and activities for kids.

Beados

This one is for kids a little older so I tested it out myself. These would be perfect stocking stuffers! You know those beads you put on a template and heat up to melt and fuse them together? Well, Beados is similar but there is no heat required! No glue either! You just spritz the completed design with a little water and let it sit for about 15 minutes and it’s done! They have lots of bigger kits and refills available.

Did you spot any toys here today that would be good gifts for the kiddos on your holiday list?

We love Kidz Bop 26 – I have bought these for the grandkids for several years & it’s actually the version of the song I learn a opposed to the radio version.

I love the idea of the Creativity Can and, for anyone who is creative enough on their own, you could totally make this yourself out of things around your home for free. Great! Those beads are FREAKY!!!! LOL
