Tomorrow is April Fools’ Day and I thought I would share some fun apps that you can use to play pranks on your friends. These are just some silly little things you might enjoy. I’ve got some for Android and Windows Phones. They all have ads, but they are free apps. I tested all of the apps myself on either my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Android or my Nokia Lumia Icon Windows Phone.
Android. This app lets you make a fake call instantly or schedule it for later. I love that you can leave the caller unknown or pick someone from your own contacts – I used my dad in the example below. You can also select from some pre-recorded calls or record your own. When you answer your phone, if you are pranking someone with you, answer it on speaker so they can hear it!
Simple Voice Changer
Android. This one is fun. Just record any message you want and then select from the list of voice sounds. I made one in reverse and one as a chipmunk. You can save the changed voice recordings and share them with others or even make them ringtones.
April Fool Pranks
Android and Windows Phones. This app provides you with ideas of pranks you can do yourself to others at home or at the office. They are fairly simple to do but you may need a little time to prepare ahead of time. The Android version is updated for 2015, the Windows Phone version is only up to 2014 – but all fun stuff.
Prank or Not
Android. Do you ever wonder if you should actually play on April Fools’ prank on a certain person? Use this fun little app to find out if you should prank or not by answering a few key questions.
Windows Phone. Take your own background image of anything you like and then add a broken screen effect to it. Now save the new image and set as your background image and/or lock screen. Cry to your friends about how your screen broke to trick them!
Crack My Screen
Android. This one is similar to above. The setting options are a bit different and you can add a time delay even if you like.
My Text Twister
Windows. I love this silly app and have had it for a while actually. Type in what you want to say and then select the twisting logic. The upside down is the one that seems to confuse people the most when you send it which makes it great for April Fools’ Day! Once you have the text twisted just select the share button at the bottom and pick to share via SMS, email, or social media and send!
Android. Record your voice normally and then listen to it backwards. Or, challenge yourself to talk backwards and then listen to it in reverse to see how well you did. Ability to save and share recordings as well.
Will you try using any of these fun apps to pull a prank on someone for April Fools’ Day this year? Do you have any other apps we should know about or just pranks without apps even?[signoff]
