Lighthouse Cocktail Recipe - Flaming Cocktail to Celebrate National Lighthouse Day | RobynsOnlineWorld.com

Today, August 7, is National Lighthouse Day. This week’s cocktail will help you celebrate this holiday.

  • 1/3 ounce Kahlua coffee liqueur
  • 1/3 ounce Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 1/3 ounce 151 proof rum

Pour Kahlua into a glass. Use the back of a spoon to slowly pour the Bailey’s into the shot glass on top of the Kahlua. Then, again with the spoon, slowly pour the 151 rum on top. Now light it on fire! That’s the light part of the Lighthouse Cocktail! Be sure to blow out the flame before drinking.

Have you visited any real lighthouses? This is something I have never done but hope to do soon!

I used to live in Maine, and the Portland Head Light there is one of my favorites.

That looks like a sweet and potent cocktail. Interesting mix of flavors.
