We so love our Annie. It really has been a joy to have her in our family since we rescued her this past December. When she came to us she was actually underweight and had lived a very hard life. We all work very hard at being happy together as a family. Hubby and I wasted no time in fattening her up, but we went a tad bit too far in the process. We try hard now not to feed her from the table but we both are still fascinated with her meal time and find it is a good time to continue bonding with her. Beneful asked if Annie would like to try out some of their food for dinner and we were sure she would agree! (Disclosure: This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Purina. The opinions and text are all mine and Annie’s)

I decided to give Beneful Healthy Weight a try for Annie. It can help her be at a healthy weight but still get excited at mealtime. It still has 100% of the nutrients that she needs though. Plus, Beneful is a mix of tender and crunchy bites with real chicken, accented with apples, carrots, and green beans. Annie loves carrots and green beans especially!

Annie loves being out by the grill

Annie loves being outside when the weather is nice. One of her favorite places is on the patio because that is where the grill is. She loves sniffing to smell the food Hubby grills (Hubby and Annie are true buddies) – whether or not he is currently cooking or if it is just leftover food smells in the air.

Annie says it is time for her Beneful dinner

I think Annie is getting hungry! She says it is time for her dinner!

Annie sniffing out the new Beneful Healthy Weight dog food

Hmmmm, sniff, sniff, sniff, what’s this? Annie knows this is something new!

Poor Annie, the life of the dog of a blogger is tough

Sorry Annie, lots of pictures just goes along with being a part of our family. You’ll get used to it just like Hubby and T did eventually.

Annie enjoying Beneful Healthy Weight dog food

Annie had no hesitation trying out Beneful. I was so happy to see she enjoyed the Healthy Weight variety with lots of good-for-you ingredients!

Annie says Beneful is yummy!

Apparently the ingredients in Beneful are lip-licking good!

beneful all gone

Annie ate the Beneful Healthy Weight in no time at all! She is not like this with all food, even though she is a big dog she can be quite finicky. I think she learned that from the cats.

thanks beneful

Now Annie has a full belly and she is ready to go back outside and play!

beneful dinner for two

Beneful wants to help all of us enjoy Dinner for Two – A Cooking Show with Two Points of View! This is a fun video show with Amy and her dog, Ollie, who cook meals side by side and include real recipes for humans too!

I usually feed her while we eat dinner. My beagle is finicky so I put hard dog food in and put a little wet can food in the help get her to eat.
